We spotted this cafe from the road as we were heading to our first stop on the Great Ocean Road, and we’re so glad we did! Delicious pastries and cakes - French, Italian and Portuguese. Incredible paninis, and the friendliest staff around! Definitely stop for breakfast or lunch if you’re in the area.

Great coffee and cannolis, I am seriously impressed- great coffee! Busy here but with the short wait looking forward to trying out other items they have next time like their paninis. Nice bloke who makes the coffees here and he is amazing at doing it quickly and not forgetting anything! Great job guys, check it out if you are close or driving by in new if a coffee fix.

Please do yourself a favour and come eat/drink at this magnificent coffee shop. High quality food, service and atmosphere. The Brothers are absolutely legends and hard workers. They truly love their job and very welcoming to everyone that enters their establishment. They will go above and beyond to make all clients happy! Look no further, and visit Laneway 73 Cafe! P.S.. Only coffee shop opened after 3pm. All other coffee shops in the town and just outside the town (Aireys Inlet, Lorne...close way too early!

Fantastic! Happy guy out the front, staff were very attentive and all over it. Making sure all customers were happy and seemed more like a community and family than a cafe. Absolutely lovely to see and we felt so welcomed. The coffee was perfect! Seemed dark roasted just the way I liked it and my partners latte was also perfect temperature and textured. We unfortunately didn’t try and cakes or sweets but my gosh did they look incredible! Thanks for the awesome visit!

It’s small and fairly basic with a clipped menu but we liked it. The coffee was nice and the bacon and egg panini was a beauty. Whoever toasted the outside of the thing is a genius and there was plenty of very good filling. Service was quick and efficient and the staff are clearly hard workers. The place is obviously popular and we could tell why

i accidentally knock my coffee and made a mess. the couple that were working there were so graceful and happy to remake my coffee, so grateful! nevertheless food, coffee and atmosphere is amazing! i will stopby here whenever i can on my way to great ocean road!

It was a cold and gloomy morning, and we set out to find the BEST cup of coffee to raise our damp spirits. Then we saw Laneway 73 Café, and set our sights with determination. The Owner is Tony, ever-present high-energy, enthusiastic, and adds to the experience! The atmosphere and décor will keep your interest going. The BEST coffee!
